Farewells

Why is saying goodbye so difficult especially when you've develop a relationship with that person? This week itself i had attended 2 farewells. The first one was for an ex-colleague, Ally Au who is leaving for UK.

Used to work with her and she had resigned to reunite with her husband in UK. She's the person i envy most right now because she managed to survive in a long distance relationship with her other half and eventually marry the love of her life last September 2008.

All the best in whatever you do and i hope you'll accommodate me if i visit!

The second farewell was for my little cousin brother Eng Soon who is going to Perth to further his studies.

I hope to see you excel in your studies so don't party too hard there. Everything might be new to you, but Malaysia is where your home and heart is. I know exactly how Pei Sze feels here waiting for your return. So, you better strive for your future! Things might not work out for me, but i'm sure everything will work out just fine for you. We will all be waiting for your return end of this year. Take good care!

The mixed emotions about departing with people that you know, merely just friends, family or lover is that you feel happy for them that they're pursuing their life dreams/goal but sadness hits when you know that they're not physically here for you. Human beings are so complex. Why do god create us to have feelings?

p/s: you're the only one who can help ease my pain...
