Happy Birthday Joyce!

After Hubby Wee left for UK, i have to find some entertainment for myself to keep myself busy and sane. Luckily there are many birthdays around the month of October and November. So, at least i don't have to think of anything else to do during the weekends other than attending birthday parties and drowning myself with alcohols.

You see, i've sobered down many years ago and hardly go to any parties except for occasional drinking night outs. So, this is a good time to catch up with friends and friends which you have not seen in ages....(pros of being in an LDR)

Last 3 weeks was Joyce's birthday, well i guess as we age, you can afford to celebrate your birthday in a larger scale because we're income earners now and have a few nights of celebration of before and after birthday!!

For pre-birthday celebration, we went to 7ate9 for an all girls night out and Velvet after that. (it wasn't a girls gone wild night kinda thingy!)

Congrats Hubby Wee!

Since 2 weeks ago, i have not seen Hubby Wee as happy as today. He applied for a Sports Scholarship when he arrived Hatfield and today he got accepted!! Congratulation Hubby! I'm very happy for you..

The perks are - he gets rebate for his course fee, free gym membership (he enjoys working out, but i guess he just wanna look good for me..=p) and play his favourite sport on earth (Golf) and represents the university for tournaments...

But this means he have lesser time for me because he needs to concentrate on his studies and his activities..=(..but that's okay..as long as he's happy..=)

One more month...

It's been almost 2 weeks since Hubby Wee left. Life has been quite depressing..i would say. Although i always try to occupy my time by going out with friends and catching up with old times, it is not the same when your loved one's not around.

One more month will be our 3rd year anniversary, but sad to say that both of us will be apart during that time and will not be celebrating together. Well...maybe its possible with web cam which will be quite pathetic! But that's the only way...

Actually i have been talking to Hubby Wee on web cam everyday...and when i feel down, he still has his ways to cheer me up even though we're thousands of miles apart.....

Just like Hubby with his dark eye bags..Hah!

This post is tad late, but i would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the person whom i knew my whole life and grew up with..

Miss Chuah Yee Leng

For soon she will be Mrs. Lee and will be migrating to Aussie to be with her soul mate, Lee Eng Hooi.

Eng Hooi had actually planned a romantic propose that was suppose to be in Sirocco months before our Bangkok trip, but, due to unforeseen circumstances, it turned out to be a not-so-romantic propose. Anyhow, the most important thing is that they have both found their soul mates and had decided to spend the rest of their lifetime together, despite having to spend most of their relationship apart (Eng Hooi lives in Australia, whilst Yee Leng in Malaysia). Hey! who says Long Distance Relationship won't work out?

2 years back when my other cousin Lay Yen got married, my dad had said that i'm only allowed to get married after Yee Leng does. HAHA!! My Hubby Wee has left Malaysia to UK to finish his final year reading Law. So, for the next 1 year, i will be living my life with loneliness and sadness until he comes home.

I secretly cried a bucket of tears when nobody is around..YES!! I'm SAD OK!! Haven't felt this way ever since i knew Hubby Wee as he always bring joy to my life!

Long Distance relationship will be a hard time for me, but i have promised to myself that i will be loyal and faithful for the person i love most as i know that there is only ONE Hubby Wee in the universe and nobody can ever replace him.....

New gadget

Woke up today and bugged Hubby Wee to take me go 'kai kai'.

Since i have free time today, so i called Pui Geet, Tiffany and Mun Yee out too. But, Tiffany have dinner at 7pm so she couldn't make it while Pui Geet say she can't make it for some personal reason.

So, i ended up dating with Hubby Wee while waiting for Mun Yee's call to meet up later on. Hubby Wee and i went Ikea to walk around and hunt for the mini table that i wanted to get. Only to found out that it was out of stock after walking the whole Ikea. So, we ended up walking around Ikano Power Centre and was looking around for a Video Cam for Hubby Wee to bring to the UK.

The specifications of the video cam we were looking for were simple, as long as it is compact for traveling convenience, videos are saved in a memory card and not the old skool tape or mini dvds and it is a multi-function video cam with digital camera too. After searching high and low in several shops, we finally found a perfect one in Canon retail shop at The Curve. That perfect little gadget met all the specifications that we were looking for. So we know we gotta have that little beauty!

After purchasing TX 1, me and Hubby Wee met up with Mun Yee at Friendster, Damansara Perdana for dinner. We were all watching the Olympics singles badminton final while having dinner. With much enthusiast, finally Malaysia will be taking A medal home. But seriously, Malaysia vs the China, was not even a competition, because Lin D was leading the score all the way while Lee Chong Wei lost to his opponent's speedy reaction. But well, i still have to give credit to Lee Chong Wei for making it this far and earned Malaysia the one and only silver medal so far.

After dinner, Hubby Wee and i went to 1Utama to catch a movie, Wall-E.

I wouldn't say its a bad movie but rating from 1 -10, i would probably give a 4. Character was cute though but not worth watching in the cinema. Just get a DVD and watch it at home. At least when you're feeling bored, you could just turn it off!
